2.6. How to create new events with Siri

You can use Siri to create new events in Calendars 5. For this turn on Local Calendars toggle under Calendars 5 settings.

Note: Siri will add events to the Default Local Calendar. You can change the calendar by editing the event afterwards.

To change the Default Local Calendar follow the steps below:

  1. Go to iOS Settings  .
  2. Tap Calendar. If you're using iOS 10.3.3 or earlier, go to the iOS Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Calendars.
  3. Select any calendar you would like Siri to use.
