6.2. Save email attachments to PDF Expert

To copy an email attachment from the mailbox to PDF Expert:

1. Open the email in the iPad/iPhone Mail app.
2. Tap and hold the attachment icon.
3. Select Copy to PDF Expert.

A copy of the file will be saved in PDF Expert and opened for preview.

Note: if you do not see PDF Expert among the available apps, please see our article (There is no PDF Expert in the 'Open in' dialogue) to troubleshoot the issue.

You can also save files to a specific folder in the PDF Expert app using the Files app. For this follow the steps below:

1. Tap the file in the app you work with and tap an Actions button  .
2. Tap 'Save to Files'.
3. When the Files app is launched, tap the PDF Expert 6 extension in the list of app and select the folder you would like to save the file to. As a result, the file will be saved to the selected folder of PDF Expert 6 app.

Note: if PDF Expert 6 is not in the list of extensions in the Files app, open the Files app > 'Browse' view, tap 'Edit' in the top right corner, enable PDF Expert 6 toggle in the list of Locations, tap 'Done'. Now you will have access to the local files and folders in PDF Expert 6 via the Files app.
