4.2. Drag & Drop

While in a Split View, you may also use Drag & Drop to add text (event title and notes) in Calendars 5 if use iOS 11 on your iPad. For this,  

  1. Open the two apps in Split View ( for instance, Calendars 5 and Notes app).
  2. To drag and drop text, select the text first, then touch and hold the text until it lifts up.
  3. Drag the item to the other app and drop it.   

Note: Currently, Calendars 5 doesn't support attachments and you won't be able to drag & drop a photo or a file.
