To make it easy to search through the contents of scans, Scanner Pro applies Text Recognition. The app automatically detects Latin-based languages and adds a text layer upon your scans to make them searchable. If the text of your scans is not a Latin-based one, please choose the needed language in the app Settings first.
Prerequisites
It’s possible to search through text in Scanner Pro 8.0 or later. For those who previously bought Scanner Pro, this functionality is free. New customers can find the billing & subscription info here.
