Please note that when you purchase PDF Expert in the App Store you're receiving the Basic version of the app that supports a great PDF viewer with various annotating options, such as highlighting, underlining or striking out the existing text, creating and editing of text annotations, creating notes, stamps and signatures, sign documents as well as an option to fill in PDF forms.
If you'd like to use professional PDF editing tools on your iOS device, we offer a one-time Pro in-app purchase for just $9.99. If you upgrade, you will be able to add new text to the content of the PDF file (in contrast to text annotations), change and delete the existing text of the PDF file without opening the original source document it was created from (e.g. .doc file), modify existing images, add links, redact sensitive data. Pro features and design were re-worked and introduced as a separate in-app purchase in 2017.
If you were using PDF Expert 5, we automatically updated your app to PDF Expert 6 for free, however, you would have to purchase the in-app if you would like to access the Pro features.
Once you bought in-app Pro upgrade on one of your iOS devices, you can tap on the “Restore Purchases” button in order to activate the editing features on a different iOS device under the same Apple ID. Please also note that sharing PDF Expert via Family sharing or buying PDF Expert via app bundles does not include Pro in-app purchase.
