2.4. Add text annotations and pop up notes

PDF Expert supports a possibility to add text and pop up notes to a PDF file.

To create a text/ pop up note:

  1. Open a PDF file.
  2. Tap and hold on the part of the page without text.
  3. Select Text/Note to add a text/pop up note.

iPhone

Choose on the bottom annotation toolbar to reveal and tap on any part of a page without text. The keyboard will pop up and you will be able to type the text.

To create a pop up note tap ,  tap on any part of a page without text. Pop up window will appear.

iPad

Select   on the tool bar and tap on any part of a PDF page without text. The keyboard will pop up and you will be able to type the text.

Tap on the tool bar, tap on any part of a page without text. Pop up window will appear.

Note: the Text note tool analyzes the PDF and tries to avoid overlaying the initial text and graphics on the PDF.      


In order to edit the text note, tap on it and select Edit.

iPhone

Use controls above the keyboard to change a font style, color and size.

iPad

You can use the tools at the top of the keyboard to change text style, i.e. select color, font size and family.

Note: PDF Expert also allows to re-size, move a text field or change the text style, i.e. select font, size color and family, at any time after the text note was created.   

To edit the pop up note, simply tap the note.
